Meet Me in St. Louis was one of my favourite movies as a kid. It's about an American family that lives in St. Louis and awaits the World's Fair (all except for the father.
I loved all the singing, and the different situations. I also liked how they showed how the seasons passed.
The best part of the movie was probably "The Trolley Scene" or when the family had a party.
Of course, this movie sure showcases Judy Garland and shows how much of a gem she is, but it also is wonderful for all the other actors, as they are just as great.
Meet Me in St. Louis is a fun song and dance movie.

Margaret O'Brien gives what may be the best acting performance by a young child in a movie, and nearly steals the film from Garland, who also contributes a flawless and unforgettable performance. Although the male casting was not very strong, Meet me in St. Louis is one of the sweetest, most enjoying and most endearing films ever made. Sometimes you just have to listen to Judy Garland. And dream a little. Pretty hard song to listen to, but what a bass tone. Gosh this video brings back memories. I remember watching and sometimes singing along with Mitch with my folks and siblings. It followed Hazel on NBC on Thursdays nights at 9:00 pm. Sometimes I wished those music entertainment(s) like Mitch would return to television instead of all the trash that's on television now.

Fuck, imagine what they would sound like now a days... too insane. Meet me in St Louis brought me here. Don't you hate when you are arguing with your girlfriend/boyfriend where is better to live and it all ends in dance competition. She was so pretty in this. and I love the way she starts singing to the little girl, and ends up singing to herself, as her eyes begin to glisten. Who els is here from that one commercial with a little girl arranging Pineneedles. In my opinion one of the Greatest movies in Hollywood History ! Judy really & truly deserved the Oscar for her absolutely outstanding Performance !  Laura Daitch-Landgraf.

It's is an amazingly quality film with NONE of the profanity or nudity that I personally have NO use for. It is SAFE for the ENTIRE family.

I was just watching Meet Me In St. Louis the other day, and it's one of my favorite movies, of all time- next to The Wizard Of Oz. I remember hearing somewhere- I think it was Robert Osborne, who used to introduce movies on Turner Classic Movies- that Judy Garland was afraid this song would be to sad to sing, to to Margaret O'Brien, the little girl who played her sister in the movie.
